George Omondi Owiti is the Directing Founder and project manager of the nonprofit organization, Greenleaf Development Initiative serving orphans in Kisumu, Kenya, East Africa. Their primary objectives are to advocate for rights to education, food, shelter, and proper basic care resources for children in need while strengthening families that are economically incapacitated. George was born in December 1996 and lost his parents due to HIV/AIDS infection at the tender age of 7yrs. He was privileged to be raised at an Orphanage in Kenya for over 20yrs. His passion for serving the underprivileged has been fueled by his own personal experience. George is a contributing author in the international best-selling inspirational book for orphans and foster children, GoldenHeart II: We Are Your Family. A young man with a giant heart, George believes that in his hands, there is space for more lives; when we contribute to others’ success with love, we provide space for more lives.
